Flash Tutorials, My Art

Step 1:

s.1 s.2

Select the circle shape tool and draw out a black circle.

Step 2:

s.3 s.4

Click on the black arrow on your tool box. While pressing Ctrl on your keyboard, drag a part of the circle outwards creating an extra shape on the circle.

Step 3:

Copy the black circle and paste it. Change the 2nd circle colour to white and resize it to be a bit smaller than the 1st circle. Place the white circle on top of the black circle to create an outline which goes slim than fat as it goes down the bottom.

Step 4:

Step 5:

Select the fill menu and change the alpha to 37%.

Step 6:

s.8 s.9

Right click and convert the shadow into a symbol. Name it as speech_shadow.

Step 7:

s.11 s.10

Add a filter (blur) and increase the blur X to 14 and automatically the blur Y changes.
